Please note
Dogs may run free in the middle section of the beach, but are not allowed along the Chapman's Peak and Mariner's Warf side. Horse riding is only allowed before sunrise, east of Hout Bay River mouth.
About
Hout Bay Beach is a popular one-kilometre stretch of sandy shore situated in Hout Bay. There is parking available for 150 vehicles. Beach chairs and ice cream are available from local beach vendors, and the beach is surrounded by various fast food shops, curio shops and restaurants.
